Firmicus is a genus of crab spiders that was first described by Eugène Louis Simon in 1895.[2]

As of September 2020 it contains seventeen species and two subspecies, found in Africa, Asia, Spain, and France:[1]

In synonymy:

  • F. marginatus Simon, 1897 = Firmicus insularis (Blackwall, 1877)
